Privacy Notice for Purebody by Adele

I am the owner & director of Purebody by Adele, www.purebodybyadele.co.uk

As clients who will be using my services, I will process the data that I hold in an appropriate and lawful manner. The information that I collect from you such as medical details/history, name, address, email address & telephone number are all collected for the sole purpose of information for me. It will be held either electronically or as paper format and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 (DPA). Information collected from subscribing to my website will be kept in accordance with the DPA also.

It is important for me to be aware of the above in order to deliver a safe & effective class to you & to be able to contact you should the need arise. I would also like for my clients to be aware of how we handle your personal data.

Any information collected is either securely kept on my laptop in a separate file to any other information & is password protected. Any paper copies of information such as the PARQ are kept in a locked box within my house & I am the only person with a key.

I will never share this information with anyone else and I will keep this information for the duration that you remain a client with Purebody by Adele.

The keeping of this information does in no way form any part of a contract between yourself and Purebody by Adele and the policy may be amended from time to time.

By visiting www.purebodybyadele.co.uk or interacting with the business pages on Facebook, Instagram or other social media avenues, enquiring about our goods or services on our website, customers, potential customers and website users are accepting and consenting to the practices in the policy.

Data Protection Principles:

We will comply with the eight data protection principles in the DPA, which say that personal data must be:

(a) Processed fairly and lawfully.

(b) Processed for limited purposes and in an appropriate way.

(d) Accurate.

(e) Not kept longer than necessary for the purpose.

(f) Processed in line with individuals’ rights.

(g) Secure.

(h) Not transferred to people or organisations situated in countries without

adequate protection.

WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We may collect the following information:

(a) Information that is provided on forms filled in by customers or prospective customers, or that is provided by corresponding with us by phone, email or otherwise. This information may include names, addresses, e-mail addresses and phone numbers, dates of birth, medical history and dietary information;

(b) Information that is provided when users of our website register to use our site or order any goods or services on our website; and

(c) Technical information which is automatically collected when customers or prospective customers visit our website, including Internet protocol (IP) address, browser type and version, time zone setting, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform, and information regarding the visit to our website including the date and time and length of time spent viewing the website or particular pages.

If you are no longer a client I will delete all personal information from my computer & destroy any paper documents by shredding them.

Your rights as an individual are to ask me what information I hold on you & to have the information updated to ensure it is accurate. You have the right to stop being a client should you wish & this is classed as the ‘right to be forgotten’. I will have to retain any medical information for the purpose of legal reasons & also a record of your attendance. These records are legally able to be destroyed 6 years after you cease to be a client.

UPDATING INFORMATION

Customers should notify us if their personal details change or if they become aware of any inaccuracies in the personal data we hold about them.
