HCR ® Recovery and management of Pelvic Organ Prolapse and Hysterectomy

The HCR® Recovery programme will guide and support you safely in your return to an active life

Surgery is a stressful time in your own and you family’s life. And aside from anxiety around the surgery itself, it can create fear around what the future looks like for you when it comes to exercise. Without the right support and education, it can leave you wondering if you’ll ever exercise in the way you loved to again.

That’s why we created the Recovery Programme. To get women back to moving how they want to, doing what they used to (and more!) and living a full and active life, post gynae surgery, and particularly Pelvic Organ Prolapse or Hysterectomy procedures.

But Recovery isn’t simply a fitness programme; it provides a strong foundation for your future health, either pre or post gynae surgery, or both.

What it provides you with

With knowledge comes confidence and power.

  • We’ll educate you about your surgery and make the science very simple.

  • We’ll teach you to manage pressure in your core to maintain great pelvic health for LIFE.

  • We’ll teach you to lift properly, from weights to suitcases, to kids. We’ll teach you to move in a way that supports your new Pelvic Health status.

  • We’ll aim to get you back doing what you loved before, safely.

  • We’ll help you understand the importance of maintaining and improving your bone health, cardiovascular health, gut and bowel health as a means of supporting your Pelvic and overall health.

Sometimes women can feel that there is no hope or no help for them. There IS hope, there IS help, and I will gladly assist you with both.

What will we do if we work together?

I’ll send you a detailed health pre screening form to help me learn a bit more about ‘where you are’ at the moment and how I can help you.

We’ll then meet either in person or on zoom to talk about the programme and work through the basics before we start to dive deeper into the different progressive exercises and movement.

There will be a bespoke tailored programme just for you and you will be provided with ‘homework’ to do when we are not together to help with your progress.

You will have ongoing What’s App support from me throughout the programme and you will be given your forever to keep exercise kit which will support your movements.

Pricing

One to one sessions 6 x 60 minutes: £390 in studio; add an extra £30 for the 6 week block for seeing you at home due to time and travel costs.

Payment can be made in full or in 3 instalments of £130 with the first payment being made before the first session, at session 3 and at session 6.

Payment is for the 6 x 60 minute sessions that will we be working through together and for my full support during this time.

Availability

I have availability at Connect Fitness studio in Thames Ditton on Thursdays or I am able to work with you at your home at an extra cost; timings to be agreed during our initial chat (please see T’s & C’s below).
